blah!!

I just cannot get motivated to lose this damn weight!!  I know I need to, I want to but I just cannot get my ass in gear to exercise.  I keep finding excuse after excuse!  First it was my ankle, then it was something else, now I am just too busy.   I just need to get started and see some results then I would continue.  I am going to sign up with a personal trainer over at the community center!  So tomorrow I will go get all the paper work and then maybe I can start the last week of June/first week of July!

Picking this back up

After my injury and trip to PA back in February/March, I am deciding to pick this back up.  We have recently made so big changes in our household diet so once I stop buying myself junk I should be able to start losing some weight.  I think for this week I am just going to eat as I normally would and journal it then I will start modifying my diet from there.  I do have one goal this week and that is to drink 24 oz of plain water a day.  I know that sounds trivial in the amount of water but I despise plain water so any is a step up for me.  I think baby steps here for me as I want this to be a lifestyle change not a quick loss.

As for our household diet change we have done away with prepackaged foods (well we have 3 or 4 boxes of things left we will be finishing up this week).  We have cut out almost all the HFCS (Aiden and Parks completely but I still have it in some things)  We no longer buy canned veggies, just frozen.  We have also been eating a lot more fresh and freeze dried fruits!

Fell off the wagon

So I kinda forgot about this blog and my diet for a few days.  Now to get back on track.  Today I am trying to eat better again and going to restart my exercise regimen tomorrow.  I was so sore from setting the workout at hard to begin with but I learned my lesson.  I am going to set it to easy tomorrow morning and try to do a little more cardio in the evening.  The Wii fit has a hula hoop game that is supposed to be great cardio and it is pretty fun.  I rearranged the boys' room and the living room so that was some exercise for today :)

Getting back on track

So I have to get back on track today.  Yesterday was a really bad day!  I am supposed to exercise again today and I think I am going to have to set it down on easy.  I am still so sore that I am having trouble walking.  I have to get myself some breakfast, I am thinking maybe some eggs today.

I don't even know what I ate at the chinese buffet.  I know it was way too much.  I will try to document it as best I can.

EA active said today was a rest day.  I am soooo sore.  My calves are killing me.  I did walk around the grocery store for about 2 hrs this morning and then played a little (tiny) bit on the wii fit.  Aiden loves that thing!  He constantly wants to play on it or watch us play.  As for watching what I ate today, I tanked.  We went out for chinese and I didn't even watch what I ate.  I bought junk food at the grocery store, I am just kicking myself for the choices I made today.  :(

Day 3 workout

EA active kicked my behind once again!

Tomorrow is a rest day in the 30 day workout program.

Found a Wii fit today.  I placed my BMI around 28 I think.  I will do something on it tomorrow for my rest day.

I am so sore from yesterday and today!

Valentine's Day Food

2 small pancakes
2 pieces of bacon
2 cups coffee
2 glass milk (8 oz)
1 ltr flavored water
1 and a half grilled cheese sandwiches with pickles
2 slices of pizza
1 large fudge round
2 peanut butter oreos
a handful of jelly beans
24oz gatorade
4 (12oz) glasses of plain water

EA Active for wii kicked my butt
started the 30 day workout on the hardest level
30 minutes and 199.8 cals burned.

Day 2 review

Wow I didn't do good at all today!  It doesn't help that I always feel compelled to eat whatever Aiden doesn't, I just hate to throw away food.  I would have been good today after one grilled cheese sandwich but Aiden only got half a sandwich and I just couldn't throw the other half away.

Happy news, I got a full ass-kicking workout in!  I did the EA active on the hardest setting.  I am sooo sore now, I don't even want to think about in the morning.  The workout was 30 min and I burned 199.8 cals!

Day 2

I know today is not going to be a good day.  It is Valentine's Day and I am getting ready to make a HUGE breakfast for my boys, which I am sure I will eat too.  I didn't get any exercise in yesterday but hope to today.

I drank more plain water than I typically do yesterday and hope I can drink even more today!

Day 1

Today is going to be day one in my journey to become healthier. I know I should wait until after Valentines Day but I really just want to start this.  Yesterday I bought  EA sports active for Wii and will buy the fit once it is in stock at stores again.

In this blog I intend to document my weight and measurements weekly, nightly document what I eat, and just journal my thoughts along the way.

Day titles will just be thoughts.  Food titles will be what I have eaten for the day. Weigh ins will be titled weekly weigh in.

I am very nervous about starting this.  I have hit a plateau in any weight lose from pregnancy weight, now I am going to have to work to get it off.
